About this tool
Merge PDF is built for everyday document work: combining scanned pages, signed contracts, or reports without sending files to a remote service. Processing uses the pdf-lib library inside your browser. Corrupt or unsupported files are rejected with a clear error instead of a silent failure.
Frequently asked questions
- Are my PDFs uploaded to Docomium?
- No. Merge PDF runs entirely in your browser. Your files stay on your device and are not uploaded to Docomium servers.
- Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
- Not in this tool. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs cannot be merged in the browser. Remove the password first, then try again.
- Is there a file limit?
- You can merge up to 20 PDF files at a time. Each file must be 50 MB or smaller.
- What order will pages appear in?
- Pages follow the order of files in the list. Use Up and Down to reorder before merging.
