About this tool

Add Page Numbers stamps simple Helvetica labels with pdf-lib in your browser. It is meant for everyday documents, not complex print layouts with running headers or section numbering schemes.

Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Add Page Numbers runs entirely in your browser. Files stay on your device and are not uploaded.
Can I number only some pages?
Yes. Leave the range empty to number every page, or enter ranges such as 2-10. Numbers increase in document order for the pages you select.
What positions are available?
Bottom or top, aligned left, center, or right — six placements with adjustable margin and font size.
Can I number password-protected PDFs?
Not in this tool. Remove the password first, then try again.
