Frequently asked questions
- Are my PDFs uploaded?
- No. Add Page Numbers runs entirely in your browser. Files stay on your device and are not uploaded.
- Can I number only some pages?
- Yes. Leave the range empty to number every page, or enter ranges such as 2-10. Numbers increase in document order for the pages you select.
- What positions are available?
- Bottom or top, aligned left, center, or right — six placements with adjustable margin and font size.
- Can I number password-protected PDFs?
- Not in this tool. Remove the password first, then try again.
